Grid position was only 15th owing to a troubled qualifying session.

The car did not remain stationary upon raising the rev before the start and the driver needed to back off which

affected the start. Upon the disappearing of red lights, driver was only on half throttle but still managed to overtake 2 cars before the 1st corner, the Reservoir Bend and moved into 13th place. A huge collision took place at the Mandarin Bend and a few cars were being taken out. Debris were everywhere and wrecks of cars were still moving ACROSS the track. Our driver made a split second decision and decided to slide through two MOVING wrecks and made a safe exit. The safety car came out for two laps when the officials cleared the track.

The safety car went in upon start of lap 3 and the race continued. There were some overtakings and at one stage Stephen Chau of car no. 9 overtook our driver. Philip Ma of car no. 31 made a hot pursuit within one second distance of our car. Peter Tong of car no. 5 made a mistake and spun in front of our car at the R-bend and again we made a narrow escape from being taken out by him. At a later stage, car no. 9 spun at the Fisherman Bend which blocked two-third of the track width and when our car passed that point, car no. 9 made a move and slightly brushed on our left rear wheel but fortunately no damage was done.

Our car crossed the chequered flag safely at 8th place overall and 3rd in the National Class.
